The LF 2L has 5 interior pockets and 7 pockets total for organization. 4 pockets in the front for gels, trash, headphones, etc and one zippered pocket inside the back pocket. We believe the main pockets (front + back) should be large for the ultimate flexibility.

We believe instead of many small pockets 2 main large pockets gives the ultimate flexibility. The outer pockets are split into the front and back. The front has 2 access points, and the back has one access point and spans the entire length between the dark black seams.

650mL Bottle
Maximizes water for belt size
Maximizes water for belt size

We felt like 500mL flasks were often too small for our medium to long runs, but didn't want to bump up to 2 flasks so we teamed up with Hydrapak to make a 650mL flask that hits the volume sweet spot. The bottle has a locking cap so it does not leak when pressure is applied to the nozzle. The bottle is compatible with the Katadyn BeFree and Hydrapak filter tops.

Best Running Belt Available

This thing is super nice. It's the perfect capacity allowing for ample water and nutritional needs, as well as carrying a jacket/poles or other misc items.

I find that pairing the 650mL flask with a filter cap was all I needed for long mountain runs. I could squeeze a basic 500mL and the 650mL in the back as well if you needed even more capacity.

The strap system is easy to use. It's comfortable. It's a little tight to shimmy up over the waist, but the fit is rock solid. Make sure you measure yourself correctly. An absolute game changer for me - it definitely allows me to avoid using a vest entirely now for my adventures. Thanks Raide.

An Engineering Masterpiece

WOW. This belt is legit. I’ve used belts from a number of different brands, all to mixed/poor results. The LF2L is head and shoulders above every other one I’ve come across. Like, no contest. The thought that went into this thing is truly amazing, and its performance is nothing short of phenomenal. It’s an ingenious design; the taper allows it to hug the boundary between hip and waist, even when not fully tightened; the tightening system is quick and easy; the insert in the back is a godsend; the suspension system is as effective as you hope it is; the storage capacity is extremely impressive. This morning’s run was ~8.5 miles with ~2300’ of vert gain and an equal amount in loss. I carried my phone, earbuds case, keys, and the included 650ml flask (!) and it was like I had nothing on at all. The belt had zero movement, zero bounce, zero rolling, and I had zero frustrations with it. It made the experience MAGICAL. Thank you, Raide Research, for doing such an absolutely incredible job with this piece of equipment. I have wanted a belt like this for years, and now that it’s here, it’s even better than I hoped for. Worth every penny, if not more. Very highly recommended.

Truly a game changer

This belt has exceeded all my expectations. Build quality is top notch. Support is fantastic. I can carry the full 650ml flask and forget about it immediately. Plenty of space for a big day. My vest hasn't seen any action in weeks!

No bounce, no bull

I've been running with the 2L for two weeks now and it's exceeded my expectations. Seriously no bounce and it holds way more stuff than you'd expect. For a recent 21-mile trail run I was able to put a 3/4 full two liter bladder in the back pocket and feed the hose through various openings. It worked fantastic. I have found that I need to fully release the stabilizer tabs to get this thing on but once it's on, it's fantastic. The materials are top notch. Great work, Raide. I'll be ditching my old vest and using this for a 50k next week.

Utility is top notch, durability TBC

I hate vests. I hate carrying stuff on my runs. This belt seems to me like it’s in the business of minimizing the impact that carrying nutrition and hydration can have on your running form and overall jazz you’re having out there, which i’m all for, and boy does it do that well. Seriously considering this as my only pack for my next 100-miler.

I used it on a few heavy elevation gain runs in Mallorca while travelling there and loved how the belt felt. Used the sizing guide to figure out my size and turned out to work quite well.

I have, however, noticed durability concerns after a first wash. I machine-washed the belt once and I am already noticing some unravelling of the sowing that goes around the outside of the belt and also some minimal thread ripping in the stretchy dyneema fabric on the back of the belt (so far, only an aesthetic issue). I would recommend hand washing the belt, but for most people, this can become a hassle if you run often. If others are having this issue, you can limit the thread unraveling by burning the thread ends as this will make the ends swell and come to a blunt finish so it won’t pass through the fabric again (this should probably come with a “perform at your own risk” warning as you may damage your belt).

It remains to be seen if the durability concerns will continue to grow as i continue to use it heavily. However, I do have to salute how great of a product this is and how it differs from other big brand products out there. True innovation from small businesses should be celebrated and it brings me great joy to see what Raide has developed here.

People of Colorado, you should be proud.
