Suspension System
A no bounce experience
A no bounce experience

The LF 2L features an internal strap system that puts tension across the material in the back and makes it so the contents of the back pocket do not bounce.

Materials
Elastic with UHMWPE Ripstop
Elastic with UHMWPE Ripstop

The LF 2L uses a 70d stretch woven with a 3mm x 3mm UHMWPE ripstop making it extremely cut resistant. This is one of the most durable belts on the market.

Belt structure
Support + insulation
Support + insulation

The LF 2L features 3mm of foam against the back and 4 flexible plastic stays. This structure keeps the belt close to your body instead of rounding away from you back like other belts. The foam has holes punched into it for breathability. The foam also insulates your bottle from you body heat, keeping your liquids cooler for longer.

Internal pockets
Organize your gear where you want it
Organize your gear where you want it

The LF 2L has 5 interior pockets and 7 pockets total for organization. 4 pockets in the front for gels, trash, headphones, etc and one zippered pocket inside the back pocket. We believe the main pockets (front + back) should be large for the ultimate flexibility.

Organization
2 main pockets for flexible storage
2 main pockets for flexible storage

We believe instead of many small pockets 2 main large pockets gives the ultimate flexibility. The outer pockets are split into the front and back. The front has 2 access points, and the back has one access point and spans the entire length between the dark black seams.

650mL Bottle
Maximizes water for belt size
Maximizes water for belt size

We felt like 500mL flasks were often too small for our medium to long runs, but didn't want to bump up to 2 flasks so we teamed up with Hydrapak to make a 650mL flask that hits the volume sweet spot. The bottle has a locking cap so it does not leak when pressure is applied to the nozzle. The bottle is compatible with the Katadyn BeFree and Hydrapak filter tops.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Raide builds light, aesthetic and balanced equipment for steep terrain. We believe that the best gear isn’t dependent on any one variable, like being the lightest, but a combination of style, weight, durability, and functionality to solve problems for outdoor athletes.

THE belt I’ve been looking for

The title says it all. I’m a fairly median athletic build, 182 cm, I went with size L. I probably could’ve went with an M but that would’ve been too much of a struggle to get on. The tightening option is awesome, you can really hone in on a snug and secure fit. The belt itself isn’t very stretchy so correct sizing is of importance.

As everybody before me has written, there is no bounce to speak of - unless you choose a tad of a bigger size and wear it untightened and only carry a phone up front, then there is a minuscule bounce of the phone, which kind of is expected. As soon as I load it up with some stuff it gets rock solid.

I have yet to load it to the max but storing two soft flasks in the back is no problem whatsoever. And that’s with no bounce… totally awesome.
I will definitively rely on this for runs up to 30 kilometers, probably more.

Thanks Raide for making this amazing belt, I’m so happy I stumbled upon it!

It just works

I have been using it for every run from 5k up to 40k trail runs in wet and windy British winter conditions and I love it. Fits well, is made well, holds water and some gear without bouncing everywhere. Minor complaint that I just haven’t got the hang of getting the 650ml bottle in the back easily on the move, but a 350ml bottle I have (that fits the cap) is super easy and smooth.

Belts are the new trail racing meta

This has proven to be a great addition to my large collection of running related gear. The belt comfortably fits my phone, plenty of gels, my 360 camera + selfie stick (through the pole straps), and the included water bottle. I will be using this for all of my ultra trail races in 2025 and probably just carry an additional handheld water bottle. Belts are the new meta, i dont make the rules, seth ruling at black canyons 100k does. The design is thoughtful and the materials used are high quality. The belt also does a great job of not smelling after you've gone out on a run and sweat all over it. But you still probably want to wash it every so often. Dont be gross.

I initially did have some issues with the bottle fitting the bottle into the rear pocket. It turns out I just had the belt adjusted to be too tight. I was worried about the belt moving around, but one morning I forgot to tighten the belt before setting out on my run on and it didn't bounce - even with my phone, gels, and bottle loaded in it. Make sure you get your measurement correct!
