We felt like the perfect ski touring pant didn't exist so we made it. The TourTech Bib presents the best of both worlds offering a breathable softshell fabric in the upper half and a waterproof, breathable hardshell in the lower half. This allows your high output areas to breathe, while the areas that interface with the snow more frequently have waterproofness.

Breathability and weather protection where you need it. The TourTech bib is 69% softshell and 31% hardshell. Hardshell on the lower leg gives you protection for trail breaking, kneeling and bootpacking while not sacrificing breathability due to the ample 20 CFM softshell.
We were tired of other brand making a "touring bib" with non-breathable materials up to your chest. We like a bib for comfort so nothing is around our waist constricting movement or getting pushed down from your pack, but it needed to be breathable so we laser cut holes into it.
Internal beacon pocket in both pockets with a webbing loop sewn into the side seam of the pant for extra security to clip your beacon.
We didn't skimp on the kickpatch. The kickpatch is 23% kevlar and wraps the entire hem of the pant to stand up to whatever you throw at it from crampons to long dry approaches.
Drop seat allows you to easily go to the bathroom without taking your layers or suspenders off.
Vents on the outer legs, shifted slightly towards the back for high output tours.
2 zippered slits in the gaiter allow you to pass your booster strap through so you don't have to lift your gaiter on transitions. This also keeps your gaiter down bootpacking. If you don't use them you can just keep the zipper closed.
We built the cuff to fit over most touring boots and their walk mode levers (including the Zero G Tour Pro), but also added a zip to pass the walk mode lever through for boots with a protruding lever.
We chose a 2 way stretch softshell so it stretches horizontally in your stride, but doesn't stretch vertically so it has no sag with weight in your pockets.

I love these pants, especially that there's a tall size for my long legs. Belt and side-button and vents work great. I dont normally like bibs because I run warm, but these have low profile mesh just above waist so I don't overheat. I might order the other color because these are great!
I've put quite some tours in those during the season, and I'm loving those!
The front waterproof fabric is great for lengthier bootpacks where knees need to be engaged to break trail.
It's super easy to get on and extremely easy to use in bathroom situations with the side zip, love that feature.
The upper part is breathable and has been awesome in spring conditions here in the Alps. The pockets are large and made with stretchy material, which I love a lot, fit my beeper, snacks, face mask, and sunscreen.
The only complaint I have about the bib is the size of the front zipper (fly) - it feels somewhat small, and it's generally quite fiddly for quick access. Also, the belt can be uncomfortable when having a backpack with the waist belt fully tightened. None of those are dealbreakers but I'd love to see those addressed in future iterations.
Great touring pants. I love the combination of soft and hard shell material. Pockets are well sized.
Great pants, love the low rise bib, narrow leg cuffs, left or right beacon pocket. Dont love lack of a back pocket. Slim fit.
These are great. I can’t say enough about them. I’m ready for Raide to make a jacket! Only thing I’d call is is that here is not a dedicated transceiver anchor to clip to in the pockets. That would be a nice to have.
