We felt like the perfect ski touring pant didn't exist so we made it. The TourTech Bib presents the best of both worlds offering a breathable softshell fabric in the upper half and a waterproof, breathable hardshell in the lower half. This allows your high output areas to breathe, while the areas that interface with the snow more frequently have waterproofness. Updated this year with a better fit, new softshell, a more breathable hardshell and more.

Features
Body-mapped softshell and hardshell material. Breathable softshell in high output areas (glutes, hamstrings, quads) and waterproof hardshell in areas that interface with the snow such as knees and lower leg.
Internal elastic beacon sleeves and clip attachment webbing in both thigh pockets
Ultra breathable and stretchy laser cut bib with extra ventilation in the lumbar
Thigh vents on outside of both legs
Drop seat from the wearer’s left side
Integrated belt with metal g-hook closure
Silicone backed no-slip suspenders
Integrated gaiter with booster strap pass through
Kevlar kickpatch material wraps entire hem of pant for extra durability
Breathability and weather protection where you need it. The TourTech bib is 69% softshell and 31% hardshell. Hardshell on the lower leg gives you protection for trail breaking, kneeling and bootpacking while not sacrificing breathability due to the ample 20 CFM softshell.
Perforated Bib
Ultrabreathable bib for comfort
Ultrabreathable bib for comfort
We were tired of other brands making a "touring bib" with non-breathable materials up to your chest. We like a bib for comfort so nothing is around our waist constricting movement or getting pushed down from your pack, but it needed to be breathable so we laser cut holes into it.
Beacon Pockets
Pocket and clip on both sides
Pocket and clip on both sides
Internal beacon pocket in both pockets with a webbing loop sewn into the side seam of the pant for extra security to clip your beacon.
Bomber Kickpatch
Kevlar cuff guard material
Kevlar cuff guard material
We didn't skimp on the kickpatch. The kickpatch is 23% kevlar and wraps the entire hem of the pant to stand up to whatever you throw at it from crampons to long dry approaches.
Drop Seat
Go #2 easily
Go #2 easily
Drop seat allows you to easily go to the bathroom without taking your layers or suspenders off.
Venting
Thigh vents on both sides
Thigh vents on both sides
Vents on the outer legs, shifted slightly towards the back for high output tours.
Gaiter
Power strap pass through on gaiter
Power strap pass through on gaiter
2 zippered slits in the gaiter allow you to pass your booster strap through so you don't have to lift your gaiter on transitions. This also keeps your gaiter down bootpacking. If you don't use them you can just keep the zipper closed.
Freeride Fit Cuff
Cuff fits over most touring boots
Cuff fits over most touring boots
We built the cuff to fit over most touring boots and their walk mode levers (including the Zero G Tour Pro), but also added a zip to pass the walk mode lever through for boots with a protruding lever.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
We research and develop for steep terrain. We believe that the best gear isn’t dependant on any one variable, like being the lightest, but a combination of style, weight, durability, and functionality to address a certain need.
This new version for '25/'26 is probably the best bibs I've ever used. Roomier in the seat/waist. At 5'10 180# I got the M tall and they have a freeride fit and are long to avoid pulling up the boot cuff on steep kickturns. Probably could have gotten away with a regular length too. I have tried numerous pants/bibs from Rab Arcteryx, and Trew all of which I like a lot in various scenarios but I think these take the cake. These have a great fit, well thought out features and the fabric combo is more versatile than any other touring pants I own. The feel of the fabric on bare skin is such that I can wear these without a baselayer and the softshell portion is thinner than my Rab softshell pants. We'll see how the durability but they seem excellent after two tours in challenging wet conditions.

Updated and better in every way!
I had previously purchased last year's version of these bibs and returned them as the fit was a little off through the waist and I found them difficult to get in and out of with no full length front zipper. It is very obvious with this year's version that all of the feedback on the prior version was taken into consideration, fit in the legs and waist is much improved, the stretchy bib upper makes them more comfortable to wear and the full length front zipper makes getting in and out of the bibs much easier. I have taken them now on three full day tours in deep snow in the Pacific Northwest and can confidently say that except for the days when it is actually raining, these have all the weatherproofing you need and will be my bibs for all conditions throughout the whole year (except for rain!). Can't wait to get many more days out of them!

The ultimate touring Bib
Amazing quality and great features. Really comfortable and without doubt the best there is when it comes to backcountry gear.

Best Touring Bibs Ever
I love these, they breathe so much better than anything hardshell but still offer great wind and moisture protection. Every feature is well considered. I wouldn't wear them on a mid-winter storm day, but for spring tours with high energy output they are unbeatable. Make them in some brighter colours and I'd get a second pair.

Great fit and design details!
I love these pants, especially that there's a tall size for my long legs. Belt and side-button and vents work great. I dont normally like bibs because I run warm, but these have low profile mesh just above waist so I don't overheat. I might order the other color because these are great!
