A no bounce experience

The LF 2L features an internal strap system that puts tension across the material in the back and makes it so the contents of the back pocket do not bounce.

Elastic with UHMWPE Ripstop

The LF 2L uses a 70d stretch woven with a 3mm x 3mm UHMWPE ripstop making it extremely cut resistant. This is one of the most durable belts on the market.

Belt structure
Support + insulation
Support + insulation

The LF 2L features 3mm of foam against the back and 4 flexible plastic stays. This structure keeps the belt close to your body instead of rounding away from you back like other belts. The foam has holes punched into it for breathability. The foam also insulates your bottle from you body heat, keeping your liquids cooler for longer.

Internal pockets
Organize your gear where you want it
Organize your gear where you want it

The LF 2L has 5 interior pockets and 7 pockets total for organization. 4 pockets in the front for gels, trash, headphones, etc and one zippered pocket inside the back pocket. We believe the main pockets (front + back) should be large for the ultimate flexibility.

Organization
2 main pockets for flexible storage
2 main pockets for flexible storage

We believe instead of many small pockets 2 main large pockets gives the ultimate flexibility. The outer pockets are split into the front and back. The front has 2 access points, and the back has one access point and spans the entire length between the dark black seams.

650mL Bottle
Maximizes water for belt size
Maximizes water for belt size

We felt like 500mL flasks were often too small for our medium to long runs, but didn't want to bump up to 2 flasks so we teamed up with Hydrapak to make a 650mL flask that hits the volume sweet spot. The bottle has a locking cap so it does not leak when pressure is applied to the nozzle. The bottle is compatible with the Katadyn BeFree and Hydrapak filter tops.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Raide builds light, aesthetic and balanced equipment for steep terrain. We believe that the best gear isn’t dependent on any one variable, like being the lightest, but a combination of style, weight, durability, and functionality to solve problems for outdoor athletes.

Best Running Belt

This is a fantastic running belt and the no bounce design makes it possibly the best designed belt ever. Highly recommended.

100% worth every penny.

This belt is fantastic, I’m able to take everything I need and leave the humid heat behind. I haven’t used my vest since getting this belt and I love my vest. The 650 flask is a great size and definitely need to get some more.
I’m able to load all my calories, hydration solution, phone and keys into this belt and utilizing a drinking fountain at a trailhead make big days out of it. I’ve also loaded a 600ml flask up front and left my phone at home so that’s always an option. My only complaint are the 2 pockets up front that face the body, the rubber along the edge can pinch if it’s not seated properly when you get the belt on. The tracking pole loops are also able to hold a sun hoodie or light jacket when you’re not using them. Another thing that’s a bit of a bummer is that it’s hard to use a waist light with the belt so I’m working on a diy solution but would love for someone to make the appropriate pieces to make the two compatible. I definitely recommend to anyone who asks about it. I would ask that they make larger sizes. I’m 6’2”, 175 pounds and wear an Xl.
TLDR, I ramble, buy the belt.

The best money I’ve ever spent

I literally never review products. Not because I don’t have some products I love, but because I never think to. With Raide, however, one of my first thoughts was ‘I NEED to write a review of this belt.’

It’s perfect. For years, I’ve struggled between my stubborn refusal to wear an ill-fitting, bulky vest and my desire to stay on the trail for 3+ hrs. Raide belt packs the utility and ease of a vest with the simplicity, comfort, and style of the best running belt you’ve ever worn. It has revolutionized my running, and has kept the trail beneath my feet like nothing else. I would pay 3x this price for this product, because it’s just that good.
