Back Panel Access

Stash Pocket
The EX 55L has a large front stash pocket with internal organization and drainage to separate your wet gear, like skins, from your dry gear, and organizing quick access items like a repair kit and headlamp.
Avy Tool Pockets
Raide packs prioritize quick access to your avalanche tools, and really quick access to your probe, while also improving the space efficiency and bringing the tools closer to your center of mass.
The probe can be accessed without taking your pack off for quicker rescues and more efficient snow study.
The shovel can be accessed by dropping one shoulder strap. The pocket is made to accommodate shovels up to 12.5" in width and most large shovel handles.
By putting the probe and shovel handle on the packβs side panels, we maximize space efficiency and bring the weight closer to your center of mass.
Probe Pocket
Easily access your probe without taking off your pack via a separate compartment. Quick access allows probing while skiing when crossing glaciers and navigating crevasse terrain.
Ice Tool Carry
The ice tool carry keeps the picks of your tools fully enclosed and secure so they don't snag or fall out. The ice tool carry is designed so that you can pull an axe out without removing your pack.

Expandable Rolltop
Expand the pack capacity from 55L to 75L, so you can haul your gear to basecamp, and then compress your pack all the way down to just 2" wide so you can ski just as well as you do at home with a day pack.

The only way to get access to all of your gear regardless of how you are carrying your skis. We think back panel access is essential to any expedition ski pack built for moving efficiently in the mountains. The frame and backpanel construction work together to create a seamless zipper interface, decreasing the time and effort it takes for you to reach your gear.
Internal Essentials Pocket
Stash your essentials inside the back panel for easy access to small items like snacks, keys, wallet any anything else you don't want floating around in your pack.
Padded Shoulder Straps
10mm of foam padding in the shoulder straps supports the heavy loads carried on expeditions and increases comfort over long days.
Glove Stash
Easily stash your gloves while touring on an integrated strap on the shoulders, keeping them easy to take on and off without interupting your flow.
Back-panel Design
The back panel is one of our packβs biggest innovations. We developed a molded composite insert with anti-bulge ribs that lock its shape, even when the pack is maxed out. Itβs stiff horizontally to keep pressure off your spine and maintain airflow as designed, yet flexes vertically for easy access and natural movement.
