Men's LF Hybrid Anorak

I'm a big fan of the TourTech Hybrid Hoody. It is insanely versatile and can deal with a wide range of temperatures. The fit is great (got it in size L, so it is rather loose). The armpit zips are a great addition, although there are a bit flimsy and need careful operation.
I used the hoody an all my winter tours (10+) - great every time. I am a bit worried on the fact that the fabric is showing quite a bit of wear and tear, especially in the area of the shoulder straps and waist belt. Let's see on how it holds up for the second season.

All in all, highly recommended.

I’m a huge fan of wind shirts and didn’t think there was much room for improvement. The small things that set this apart like great chest pocket, pit zips and some insulation really add a ton. I live in it!

I have been ski touring and ski mountaineering for a long time and have been waiting for a layer like this one. A layer I can hike in all day without over heating. The thin and breathable fabric make this a perfect "all day layer" for ski touring. When it comes to big days in the mountains I find this layer to be the perfect blend of comfort and tech.

This TourTech Hoody was perfect for our ski over two Canadian Rocky Mountain passes above the tree line. While the winds were howling the temperatures were not too cold. This was my first trip where I was relying on the Hoody for wind/cold protection and it worked as it should.

A critical part of most motivated and accomplished mountaineer’s kit is a lightweight softshell. It’s likely the piece you basically live in every day out, year round. And most are always searching for a piece that is lightweight and highly breathable so you don’t overheat and reach the top dry. But with enough wind and precip protection you don’t have to throw on a hard shell until it’s really storming. Well, I’ve had many favorites and the Raide Tour Tech Hoody just replaced my last best ever. It’s packed with incredibly thoughtful technical features so here we go: The fabric is as breathable as it gets while somehow blocking even 40mph winds. I just tested it on a gnarly day in the Tetons and didn’t pull out the hard shell till the summit. The hood fit stays on even in 50mph gusts. The lighter even more breathable material on the back and torso keeps me dry while the light breast fleece panels keep my front warm in the wind and while ripping back down. The pit zips extend the high output range for a no sweet ascent Brest pocket fits a beanie, transceiver in the keeper pocket and still room for some carbs. The fit is long enough, room to layer under but not to baggy when worn of one light base layer. Sleeve cut is perfect as long enough and tapered to not get on the way of rope work, putting on crampons or technical tasks. And the styling looks and feels rad. It weighs and packs to almost nothing. I’ll be wearing the Tour Tech hoody pretty much every day for all mountain activities year round. Raide you absolutely NAILED it! Thank you!
