Unmentioned bonus feature: the exposed parts of the compression system are a perfect spot to carry my anti-rabid dog batton.
The flask and cap are the usual HydraPak quality with the usual HydraPak warranty. All good things on both counts. As such, I fully expect to get several years of not-so-gentle use out of them.
More importantly, I'm just glad to see that Raide and a handful of other companies are bucking a longstanding trend by standardizing on flasks larger than 500ml. Indeed these 650ml flasks work just as well in my vests as they do in the LF 2L belt and the extra capacity is greatly appreciated.
I’ve taken it this bottle on 50 mile runs and 5 mile runs and it fit the bill for both.
Best cap for any belt. Brilliant idea, whoever thought of it. Bought two (2).
