ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead Raide’s wholesale business and build strong partnerships with the retailers and distributors who represent the brand. You’ll be stepping into a brand that in it’s first 2 years is in 100+ doors in 20+ countries.

This role is responsible for expanding Raide’s presence in retail, servicing existing retail accounts, managing key accounts, overseeing the performance of our sales reps and developing the sales strategy that supports the brand’s long-term growth.

You will work closely with leadership, product, and marketing to ensure Raide grows with the right partners, in the right markets, while maintaining the brand’s reputation for performance and authenticity.

This is a executional, strategic and relationship-driven role. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, managing key accounts, and helping shape the structure of Raide’s wholesale organization as the company scales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Wholesale Strategy. Develop and execute Raide’s wholesale strategy across North America and international markets. Identify the right partners to grow the brand while maintaining strong positioning in specialty outdoor retail.
  • Manage Key Retail Accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with Raide’s most important retail partners. Ensure accounts are supported, informed, and aligned with the brand.
  • Manage Sales Forecasting. Work closely with operations and product teams to forecast demand, manage seasonal order cycles, and ensure alignment between sales commitments and production planning.
  • Pricing. You’ll help price Raide products internationally.
  • Drive Sell-Through Success. Partner with retailers on merchandising, education, and product storytelling to help ensure strong sell-through at the store level. Work with Raide’s creative team to bring Raide products to life in wholesale.
  • Coordinate Sales Representation. Manage and support independent sales reps and distributors where appropriate.
  • Represent Raide in the Market
    Attend key industry events, trade shows, and retail meetings. Act as a strong ambassador for the brand.
  • Provide Market Feedback. Bring insights from retailers and customers back to the product and leadership teams to inform product development and strategy
  • Wholesale support. This role will involve supporting accounts on all of their needs from warranty, order changes, etc to product questions.
  • Manage/grow team. This role will evventually build out a wholesale and delaer services team under them.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 6–10+ years of experience in international wholesale sales, ideally in outdoor, running, or performance apparel/equipment
  • Experience working with specialty outdoor retailers and key industry accounts
  • Strong network within the outdoor retail community
  • Proven ability to grow a brand’s wholesale presence while maintaining strong brand positioning
  • Strong forecasting and planning capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly relationship-driven with strong communication skills
  • Strategic thinker who also enjoys being directly involved with accounts
  • Willing to travel once a month with international trips once a quarter
  • Experience in ski touring and running is a strong plus
